The Company


The idea behind Monroe & Chase came from a marked lack of confidence in other recruitment consultancies. It was apparent to both recruiter and candidate that media sales recruitment has been traditionally treated as a numbers game, but Monroe & Chase has set out to change that perception.  We believe in straight-talking, consideration and open communication between client, candidate and consultancy - it’s working so far, please see our testimonials.

The People

Monique Mandalia
Monique has a wealth of media sales experience working for some of the biggest publishers in London including Centaur, Emap and VNU. She has first hand experience of internal recruitment and understands the pressures facing managers recruiting on the front line.  Monique is a very sociable young lady, and also an eternal optimist so plenty of fun to be around. She has a passion for travelling to different countries and her current favourite place in the whole world is Sorrento, Italy.  As an avid Arsenal supporter, candidates and clients alike can expect a healthy debate from Monique if they dare to support anyone else, and of course evening meetings will often become scheduled around matches.

Michael Cloake
Michael began his career at Emap, and Monroe & Chase is now the third company in which he has worked with Monique. When you meet him, you’ll find an ambitious, good-natured and confident young man.  Michael would like to be active and enjoying the rigours of sports such as skiing and climbing, but more often than not the temptations of good food, good company and sunshine get in the way of his more adventurous pursuits.  Michael likes to see himself as a people person and loves to be amid the action.

Trishma Borkhataria
Trishma is a highly capable marketing and administration assistant, and is always perfectly organised and efficient in any task she undertakes. She is a very amiable and social person, and is also the Editor in Chief of an independent college magazine.
